Is this really going to work? By eating carefully to maintain your weight, do you think you might become a bit over-cautious and sometimes under-eat?

So… if you eat a bit less and your weight goes down by a bit, will you say to yourself: “I lost some weight, so I have to eat more to gain it back”? Probably not, right?

Instead, you might say: “OK, I’ll just maintain it here,” and then the process repeats. This process of being over-cautious and sometimes under-eating is how you lost weight in the first place, isn’t that so?
