If that is what you are trying to do, it will be difficult to reach this goal. Everybody has a natural body weight that is largely controlled by genetics. We call this natural weight your Set Point.

You can imagine your Set Point like floating in water with a life jacket on. You might move up and down a little bit, but you generally stay at the same level. Maintaining a weight below your Set Point is like trying to dive into water with your life jacket on, you’re constantly being pushed back up.

You can keep your weight below this level by dieting, purging and exercising, but it’s going to take a lot of work, and it’s going to cost you.
